The TEC1-12705 40x40mm Thermoelectric Cooler 5A Peltier Module is the simple application of Peltier Thermoelectric Effect. The module features 127 semiconductor couples in the area of 40mmx40mm which very effectively cools and heats up to 80°C.

Thermoelectric coolers also are known as TEC or Peltier Module create a temperature differential on each side. One side gets hot and the other side gets cool. Therefore, they can be used to either warm something up or cool something down, depending on which side you use. You can also take advantage of a temperature differential to generate electricity.

This Peltier works very well as long as you remove the heat from the hot side. After turning on the device, the hot side will heat quickly, the cold side will cool quickly. If you do not remove the heat from the hot side (with a heat sink or other device), the Peltier will quickly reach stasis and do nothing. We recommend using an old computer CPU heatsink or another block of metal to pull heat from the hot side. We were able to use a computer power supply and CPU heatsink to make the cold side so uncomfortable we could not hold our finger to it.

A thermoelectric cooling (TEC) module is a semiconductor-based electronic component that functions as a small heat pump. By applying the DC power source to a TEC, heat will be transferred from one side of the module to the other. It creates a cold and hot side. They are widely used in industrial areas, for example, computer CPU, CCDs, portable refrigerators, medical instruments, and so on.

Speak (Voice) Recognition Module V3 product is a speaker-dependent voice recognition module. It supports up to 80 voice commands in all. Max 7 voice commands could work at the same time. What are the updated features?

We have Voice Recognition module V2 and it supports 15 commands in all and only 5 commands at the same time. On V2, voice commands are separated into 3 groups while you training it. And only one group (5 commands) could be imported into Recognizer. It means only 5 voice commands are effective at the same time.

On V3, voice commands are stored in one large group like a library. Any 7 voice commands in the library could be imported into recognizer. It means 7 commands are effective at the same time.

This display overcomes the drawback of LCD1602 Parallel LCD Display in which you’ll waste about 8 Pins on your Arduino for the display to get working. Luckily in this product, an I2C adapter is directly soldered right onto the pins of the display. So all you need to connect are the I2C pins, which shows a good library and little of coding.

The I2C is a type of serial bus developed by Philips, which uses two bidirectional lines, called SDA (Serial Data Line) and SCL (Serial Clock Line). Both must be connected via pulled-up resistors. The usage voltages are standard as 5V and 3.3V.

If you already have the I2C adapter soldered onto the board like in this product, the wiring is quite easy. You should usually have only four pins to hook up. VCC and GND of course. The LCD display works with 5 Volts. So we go for the 5V Pin.

The values shown on the display can be either a simple text or numerical values read by the sensors, such as temperature or pressure, or even the number of cycles that the Arduino is performing.

A 1,2,4& 8 channel relay module (HCMODU0115) featuring 2x Omron G3MB-202P solid state relays. This 5V 1,2,4& 8 channel  SSR G3MB-202P Solid State Relay Module is capable of switching AC voltages between 100 and 240V at up to a 2A current. The module can be controlled from a 5V digital source such as an Arduino microcontroller.

A resistive type fuse is provided on the module to help protect excessive current draw.

This 5V 1,2,4& 8 channel SSR G3MB-202P Solid State Relay Module 240V 2A Output with Resistive Fuse is based on the Omron G3MB SSR relay which can control up to 2A at 240VAC. This is a 2 Channel SSR relay module, each relay channel has 3 separate terminals, NO (Normal Open), COM (Common), NC (Normal Closed).

A Solid State Relay is similar to a mechanic relay where it can be controlled through a digital signal. Solid State Relay generates no noise and has a much longer lifespan in compared to the traditional mechanic relay.

When the input logic voltage is applied to the coil, the NC will disconnect from the COM breaking the conductivity between the two. At the same time, the NO will connect with the COM allowing conductivity between them. Depending on your wiring this will turn on or off the connected load.

Input part :
  1. DC+: connect the power supply positive (press the relay voltage power supply)
  2. DC-: the cathode of a power supply
  3. CH1: 1 relay module signal trigger end (high-level trigger effective)
  4. CH2: 2 relay module signal trigger end (high-level trigger effective)
High level and low level of meaning
  1. High-level trigger refers to the signal trigger end (IN) had a positive voltage and the negative pole of the power supply is usually between, and the triggering end of a trigger connected with the positive pole of a power supply, when the trigger end has a positive voltage or reached the trigger voltage, the relay is attracted.
  2. Low-level trigger refers to the signal triggering voltage between the end and the negative electrode of the power supply is OV, or trigger terminal voltage lower voltage than the positive power supply voltage, low to can trigger, make the relay, is usually the cathode of the power supply and the triggering end of a trigger mode connection, so that the relay is attracted.

The GT521F52 Optical Fingerprint Scanner Module with JST SH Connector is a high-performance fingerprint scanner. Which is useful for to access control, security, identification, and convenience. This optical sensor module is designed for easy integration into applications with serial interface (UART). We need two wires are for TX and RX and two wires for power supply (5V).

The main difference between GT521F32 and GT521F52 is fingerprint storage capacity.

There are four types of fingerprint scanner: the optical scanner, the capacitance scanner, the ultrasonic scanner, and the thermal scanner. The GT521F52 Fingerprint Scanner Module is an optical scanner module. This optical scanner takes a visual image using a digital camera.

The idle module is woken by a finger touching the metal frame of the sensor. The pictures of the fingerprints are processed on-board by the fingerprint algorithm (low power 32-bit ARM Cortex-M3 processor) and convert it into strings of data. These so-called ‘templates’ are residing on the module configured as a USB mass storage device. They can store and share through a database with other modules in a network, allowing easy enrollment of many users.

This is JoyStick Module PS2 Breakout Sensor very similar to the ‘analog’ joysticks on PS2 (PlayStation 2) controllers. Directional movements are simply two potentiometers – one for each axis. Pots are ~10k each. This joystick also has a select button that is actuated when the joystick is press down.

With the help of this Joystick Module, you can measure position coordinates on the X and Y axis by moving the “hat”. It also contains a switch that is press-able by pushing the “hat”.It also contains a switch that is press-able by pushing the “hat” down. Similar to the XBOX controller.

The X and Y axes are two 10k potentiometers which control 2D movement by generating analog signals. When the module is in working mode, it will output two analog values, representing two directions. This module uses the 5V power supply, and value, when reading through analog input, would be about 2.5V, a value will increase with joystick movement and will go up till maximum 5V; the value will decrease when the joystick is moved in other direction till 0V.

4. Produce variable pulse signal, the control-related circuit (PWM dimming, speed)

2.XX.X (decimal point in ten): The minimum unit is 0.1Khz; the range of 0.1KHz-99.9KHz

3.X.X.X.(there is three decimal point): the smallest unit is 1Khz; the range 1KHz-150KHz

1.”100″ indicates that the PWM output pulse of 100Hz

2.”54.1″ indicates that the PWM output pulse of 54.1KHz

3.”1.2.4.” Indicates that the PWM pulse output 124KHz

The USB TO UART TTL 5V 3.3V FT232RL Download Cable To Serial Adapter Module is a basic breakout board for the FTDI FT232RL USB to serial IC, Revision 2. The pinout of this board matches the FTDI cable to work with official Arduino and cloned 5V Arduino boards. It can also be used for general serial applications.

The major difference with this board is that it brings out the DTR pin as opposed to the RTS pin of the FTDI cable. The DTR pin allows an Arduino target to auto-reset when a new Sketch is downloaded. This is a really nice feature to have and allows a sketch to be downloaded without having to hit the reset button. This board will auto reset any Arduino board that has the reset pin brought out to a 6-pin connector.

The pins labelled BLK and GRN correspond to the coloured wires on the FTDI cable. The black wire on the FTDI cable is GND, green is CTS. Use these BLK and GRN pins to align the FTDI basic board with your Arduino target.

This board has TX and RX LEDs that make it a bit better to use over the FTDI cable. You can actually see serial traffic on the LEDs to verify if the board is working.

This board was designed to decrease the cost of Arduino development and increase ease of use (the auto-reset feature rocks!). Our Arduino Pro boards and LilyPads use this type of connector.

One of the nice features of this board is a jumper on the back of the board that allows the board to be configured to either 3.3V or 5V (both power output and IO level). This board ship default to 5V, but you can cut the default trace and add a solder jumper if you need to switch to 3.3V.

            The 4 x 4 matrix keypad usually is used as input in a project. It has 16 keys in total, which means the same input values. The 4 x 4 Matrix Keypad Module is a non-encoded matrix keypad consisting of 16 keys in parallel. The keys of each row and column are connected through the pins outside – pin R1-R4 as labeled beside control the rows, when L1-L4, the columns.

            A 4×4 matrix keypad consisting of microswitch buttons. The module has four holes 3mm (M3) holes for mounting. The pin designations on each PCB are shown on each PCB. Four pins are thus used as an ‘x’ coordinate and the other 4 as a ‘y’ coordinate.
            The module is already equipped with a soldered pin-headers.

            How it Works:

            First test whether any key is pressed down. Connect power to rows, so they are High level. Then set all the rows R1-R4 as Low and then detect the status of the columns. Any column of Low indicates there is key pressing and that the key is among the 4 keys of the column. If all columns are High, it means no key is pressed down. Next, locate the key. Since the column in which the pressed key lies is identified, knowing the line would finalize the testing. Thus, set the rows as Low in turns until any is unveiled accordingly – other rows will still be High.
            Now the row can be identified. Detect the status of each column in turns. The column tested Low is the one intersecting with the line – their cross point is just the key pressed.

            There are four types of fingerprint scanner: the optical scanner, the capacitance scanner, the ultrasonic scanner, and the thermal scanner. The GT521F32 Fingerprint Scanner Module is an optical scanner module. This optical scanner takes a visual image using a digital camera.

            The idle module is woken by a finger touching the metal frame of the sensor. The pictures of the fingerprints are processed on-board by the fingerprint algorithm (low power 32-bit ARM Cortex-M3 processor) and convert it into strings of data. These so-called ‘templates’ are residing on the module configured as a USB mass storage device. They can store and share through a database with other modules in a network, allowing easy enrollment of many users.

            Setting up SPI/I2C Connection with GMS096A OLED Module :

            Being a new entry into the market, only limited resources are available on this small piece of a miracle (GMS096A). I2C/SPI configuration always demands helpful resources as in any case. For the SPI setup, the module comes in 4 wire SPI configuration by default and to make it work with the Arduino you can use these libraries from Adafruit.

            For the I2C setup, it demands a little bit of work on the module, let us start with resoldering the resistor from position R3 to R1 and then short the R8 resistor with some soldering tin (0 Ohm resistor). The R6 and R7 pullup resistors are already soldered, nothing to do there. Once done, the module is ready for I2C communication! The CS Pin is not necessarily needed, so just connect it to GND. The DC Pin selects the address. For standard address wire it to GND. The RES-pin needs a low pulse at startup and a high voltage during operation (as in SPI mode), a 100nF capacitor to GND and a 10k resistor to VCC would be ideal!

            This is a 12V 16 Channel Relay Module with Light Coupling LM2576 Power Supply, Be able to control various appliances and other equipment with a large current. It can be controlled directly by Micro-controller (Arduino, 8051, AVR, PIC, DSP, ARM, MSP430, TTL logic).

            This is 12V 16-Channel Relay interface board and each one of the individual relays needs 15-20mA Driver Current. The board features indication LED for Relay output status and the standard interface that can be controlled directly by many of widely used microcontrollers like Arduino etc.

            The 12V electromechanical relay module with AC contact capacity of 250V which also include light coupling protection(optocoupler) for isolation of control circuitry. The plate load power module doesn’t need an external power supply. It supports all SCM Drive.

            The LM2596S buck chip in this relay module shows a slight fever which is a normal phenomenon as relays, long working hours have normal fever characteristics. 4 relay load power to give leave some margin, should avoid high-power (about 2000W) and long working environment, there will be some impact on the life of the product.
